| Here in GendersInX, we promote and emotionally support those who have/are a Congenital Gender Variation. Presently in this site are the following conditions : 5 Alpha Reductase, Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia, Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome, Turner's Syndrome and Klinefelter's Syndrome.
Each of these conditions are supported by those who are of those conditions themselves. We actively support people that are of those conditions by positively reinforcing thier importance to not only themselves, but in relation to those around them. This is important due to the negativity we face on a constant basis by uninformed family members, the medical community and the general public. It does take a toll on our self esteem.
If you do not see your condition in GendersInX, please send along a request to the undersigned site administrator after reading the following requirements in order to have a forum dedicated to your condition.
What is required is a person of that condition to actively support that condition by presenting it as a Resource person and answering any question that is posed in relation to that condition. It is also expected that you promote GendersInX within the forum created for you so that others like you can come and be emotionally supported as well. It is not necessary for you to have all the medical knowledge of your condition just a willingness to share and be part of a family of people in the same circumstance, no matter the condition.
We at GendersInX hope that you will present yourself to the Admin here in order for us to get to know your experiences and your outlook in life. As we begin to understand your perspective we hope you begin to understand ours.
